I’m Jacquelyn McCoy, an accomplished IT professional with over nine years of experience strengthening financial institutions through technology, strategy, and operational excellence. My work spans business strategy, organizational development, operations, learning strategy, and information technology, all rooted in my core values of integrity, excellence, and service. As the Founder and President of T.O.T.A.L., I lead initiatives that empower youth, support families, and uplift communities through advocacy, resources, and opportunity. I continue expanding my professional reach by pursuing my real estate license, aligning my skills with my long‑term vision of community impact and economic empowerment.
Alongside my career, I’ve successfully managed multiple businesses while raising a full, active household, sharpening my leadership, time‑management, and multitasking abilities. I’m energized by the outdoors and enjoy hiking, sports, dirt‑bike riding, fishing, the gym, and meditation. I value new experiences and deeply cherish time with my family, especially peaceful drives to the beach that allow me to reset and reflect. Every part of my journey professionally and personally—reflects my commitment to growth, purpose, and creating meaningful change.

Founder/Vice President
Jean 'Marie' Thornton is a seasoned professional with more than 15 years of experience in leadership, management, investigations, and internal audit. She has excelled in both leadership and individual contributor roles, consistently demonstrating the ability to drive organizational success, strengthen teams, and inspire those around her. As the founder of T.O.T.A.L. (Taking Opportunities to Another Level), she is deeply committed to empowering individuals and uplifting communities through meaningful programs and resources.
In her current role as Senior Vice President and Chair of the Board (Chief Executive Officer) of Taking Opportunities To Another Level (T.O.T.A.L.) Corp., Marie leads with vision, integrity, and a passion for excellence. Her leadership is instrumental in guiding the organization toward innovative growth, impactful initiatives, and a culture rooted in service and accountability.
Marie holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix, a Master’s in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master of Business Administration. Her extensive academic background reflects her dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
Born in Chicago, raised in Southern California, and a proud Arizona resident for more than 26 years, Marie is grounded in her faith and the principles of Servant Leadership. She finds purpose in mentoring youth and individuals in need, and she is driven by a deep desire to make a lasting, positive impact in her community.

Director of Communications & Marketing
Mariah Thornton is the Director of Communications & Marketing for T.O.T.A.L. Corp., where she leads brand strategy, outreach, and organizational messaging. At just 20 years old, she is a dedicated college student majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Criminology, driven by a commitment to community empowerment and social justice.
Mariah brings early professional experience in the mortgage industry and a strong passion for creating meaningful change. Her leadership supports T.O.T.A.L.’s mission to expand access to resources and opportunities for youth and families across the community.
Outside of her work, Mariah enjoys reading, gaming, true‑crime shows, decorating, and traveling — activities that keep her inspired as she continues to grow as a young leader.

Program Chair
Ariana Manning is a dedicated high school senior concurrently pursuing her Associate’s degree while balancing academics, athletics, and community leadership. With a strong passion for social justice and youth empowerment, she is committed to expanding access to resources and support for underserved populations.
As Program Chair at T.O.T.A.L. Corp., Ariana contributes to the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that align with the organization’s mission. She excels at identifying community needs and developing strategic, sustainable solutions that create meaningful impact.
Ariana is also a standout multi‑sport athlete — the MVP of the St. Mary’s High School for Girls flag football team and an active player for the West Valley Raptors. Her achievements in athletics reflect her discipline, teamwork, and exceptional time‑management skills.
Inspired by the principles in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, Ariana brings synergy, proactivity, and collaboration to every role she takes on.

Secretary
Mya Thornton is a dedicated leader at T.O.T.A.L. Corp., serving as Director, Secretary, and Statutory Agent. At just 20 years old, she oversees organizational communications, maintains internal structure, and ensures the nonprofit stays aligned with its mission to uplift youth and families.
Mya began her professional journey in the mortgage industry at age 18 and is now in her third year of college pursuing a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with aspirations to specialize in Pediatric Cardiovascular Sonography. Her passion for helping children and supporting community well‑being drives her work at T.O.T.A.L.
Outside of her leadership role, Mya enjoys animals, literature, art, music, and spending time with loved ones. She loves reading, puzzles, exercising, traveling, swimming, and light‑hearted movies. Though naturally introverted, she embraces new experiences and opportunities to grow.

Michaila Baker, known artistically as Chai, is a powerhouse of creativity, compassion, and organization. With a background in entrepreneurship, entertainment, and behavioral health therapy for children with special needs, she brings a unique blend of heart and hustle to T.O.T.A.L Corp. As a mother to a thriving NICU graduate, Michaila’s journey fuels her passion for youth empowerment and community connection.
In her new role, she supports administrative operations and leads outreach efforts to build strong partnerships and drive fundraising success. Her values, reliability, consistency, and clear communication shine through in everything she does.
Her message to youth:
Your story matters. Even the hard chapters. Keep showing up, keep dreaming, and know that you are never alone.

Tyrone is a dedicated mentor and multi‑disciplinary professional who brings financial knowledge, emotional support, and creative skill to T.O.T.A.L. Corp. As an insurance broker and financial coach, he helps youth and families understand budgeting, planning, and long‑term stability. His work as a mental health coach supports emotional wellness and resilience, creating safe spaces for young people to grow.
Tyrone is also an experienced photographer and fitness coach, using creativity and wellness to inspire confidence and discipline. His holistic approach strengthens T.O.T.A.L.’s mission of empowering youth to take opportunities to another level.
